Freight Policy

How DVE Cloud calculates freight for commerce orders in our online store.

Effective date: 5 June 2026

Freight is calculated during checkout using the delivery address, product size and weight, delivery method, and the items in your cart. Cart freight amounts are shown inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

Standard Road Freight

Eligible metro road freight may be free when the merchandise subtotal is at least $1,000 excluding GST. Free road freight excludes printers, data cabinets, UPS units, and other bulky goods.

For eligible local metro orders under $1,000 excluding GST, road freight is calculated from $15 excluding GST for each consignment up to 25kg dead weight or 0.10 cubic metres.

A $20 excluding GST local metro road freight minimum may apply in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, and WA depending on the destination and consignment profile.

Priority Air Freight

Priority next day air freight is charged regardless of order value. The following excluding-GST rates apply where the order fits within the listed chargeable weight:

Orders above 20kg, oversized consignments, and some delivery locations require a manual freight quote.

Fast Local Delivery

Priority 2-4 hour and fast 4-8 hour delivery may be available in same-city metro areas. Pricing varies by delivery location, timing, and availability, so these options are quoted manually before payment.

Bulky Goods and Special Handling

Bulky goods, oversized items, heavy consignments, and orders that exceed 25kg dead weight or 0.10 cubic metres may require a manual freight quote. Items dispatched from WA to another state may also require manual review, and free road freight may not apply.

We do not add a separate dropship handling fee to eligible online orders.

PO Boxes, Pickup, and Dispatch

PO box delivery is only available with air freight where the item is suitable. Oversized PO box orders require a physical delivery address before dispatch.

Orders marked for pickup do not incur freight. Pickup availability and warehouse collection windows are confirmed during order processing.

Same-day dispatch cut-offs vary by freight type and location. Interstate and air freight orders usually need to be confirmed by mid-afternoon local business time.

Manual Freight Quotes

When the cart shows that a manual freight quote is required, we will confirm the freight amount before payment or order release. This helps avoid undercharging for bulky, regional, urgent, or otherwise unusual deliveries.

Returning Goods

Freight for returned goods is covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy, including when DVE Cloud pays the return freight.
